Every year around or before your birthday, The Sun returns to the same exact place it was in when you were born.
The moment this happens is quite significant.
In Astrology, we capture the exact chart of that moment because it could tell us details about your next year that might surprise you. This is called your solar return chart and it changes every year around your birthday.
The chart describes the energy of the following year up until your next birthday.
Personally, it is one of my most preferred method of prediction using astrology among many others.

I later asked for her permission to publish this piece and asked her a few follow up questions. Here’s what she said:
-What made you want to get the very first astrology reading?
I’ve been following Rude since 2018/2019 when I had a spiritual awakening of sorts, so I’ve been a fan of her work for some time. I was at a place in my life (nodal reverse) where everything I knew career, home, relationships, health was being ripped from around me all at once and I had zero sense of direction. I felt incredibly out-of-control and knew I could trust Rude Astrology to be honest and give me real reassurance that it gets better or that I’m going to continue getting my ass kicked and to buckle up!
-Why Rude Astrology?
I admired her for her honesty and straightforwardness. I started with asking random questions on KoFi here and there, and one day I had asked a question and she asked if I could join her on a zoom call because the answer was loaded and she gave me so much solid advice and accurately described what I was going through without me even telling her about my situation prior to the call. READ MY SITUATION FOR FILTH in the best way and I love that personally! So, the following year I decided to go for the full solar return reading! 100/10 recommend.
-Have you always had an interest in Astrology? or were you experimenting?
I’ve been interested in astrology since I was 10 (my late grandmother was a “witch doctor” and astrologer in Hawaii, so she started the interest for me). I read a lot about astrology/human design and try to experiment with event astrology more than anything (focusing on true crime/historical events) for fun!
-How did you feel about the reading? were you happy, skeptical or excited?
After I got the reading from Rude Astrology, I remember feeling both skeptical and excited! I was told for many years I couldn’t have children naturally and have had a string of terrible relationships. So, for Rude Astrology to tell me that by the start of my Saturn return I would be basically be finding the love of my life (she predicted his sign/placements accurately too) and be having a baby was WILD! Mostly because when I got the reading, in order for it to work out in the time frame she predicted I would be meeting that someone within a couple of months. I had no idea how my ovaries were going to suddenly start working properly and I had even made plans to move across the country at that point so I didn’t know when I would meet someone. I was at a point I wasn’t even willing to meet anyone… THEN BOOM! Met him, felt things I’ve never felt before and got pregnant (LOL), my mind was BLOWN to say the least. Forever a supporter of Rude Astrology because if it weren’t for the advice and predictions, I maybe wouldn’t have been open to finding the love and family I have now.
